Telford Tigers 2 are delighted to confirm that forward Dan Mitchell will re-join the team for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.
Mitchell, who has previously iced for both Tigers sides, is well known to Telford fans for his determined style of play and relentless work ethic. Having come through the club’s junior system, he adds further experience and depth to the roster as the team look to build on their recent success. Dan’s energy, physicality, and ability to contribute in key moments make him a valuable addition to Silverthorn’s squad once again.
Dan commented on return to Tigers 2 saying;
“I’m buzzing for this new season. We’re heading for a new league which is going to be a massive challenge. I can’t wait to get on the ice, give the fans a good time and just enjoy every second of the way.”
Telford Tigers 2 coach Jason Silverthorn, commented on the return of Mitchell;
“Dan returns as another very versatile player. He had a massive impact last season when we moved him into the top six of our forward group. He brings a lot of energy and personality to the group which is great. He’s been underrated since I have been here in Telford for the quality and presence, he brings both on and off the ice. We are lucky to have him and I am looking forward to him having another big season for us at the next level.”
