Telford Tigers captain Jason Silverthorn has committed to lead the club into the 2018/19 season following 4 successful seasons in Shropshire, where he has led the the team to two league tiles, one cup victory and also the Moralee Playoff Championship.
Jason, who was born in Canada and has played in several countries as a professional player has settled into family life in Shropshire and he said on his latest contract “It’s nice to be able to get something worked out so quickly after the season has finished to remain a Tiger. We as a family have made Shropshire our home and have developed a lot of important relationships in the area. It’s a situation that is beneficial to both parties and we couldn’t be happier.”
Jason’s own and loan shirts are available to order now for £100 each (Home and Away).
New for 2018/19 Tigers are offering individual player sponsorship, at £400 including a personalised “special” third jersey with a company name / family name patch, match night announcements, a small advert / logo in the match night programme as well as signed player photo.
