Bartholomew steps up for another season with Tigers as he re-signs for Telford Tigers 2 for the upcoming season.
The youngster played out of Coventry for the U16 squad in 2014 where he then made the move to Telford. Bartholomew began his Tigers journey with the U15s squad where he managed to bag a respectable 10 points in 16 games. Liam then progressed into the Tigers U18 squad in the 2016/17 season, where he was then playing for the two junior squads simultaneously. Bartholomew made his senior Tigers debut last season and has played for the Laidler side whilst also icing for the junior U18 squad.
Tigers 2 coach Fielder is looking forward to helping Bartholomew progress further this season commenting;
“Liam is one of two guys from our U18s that broke into the Tigers 2 squad last season. Even though Liam isn’t a big guy, he is a hardworking, gritty forward that can step onto any line and also play in D. Liam will also be playing for the U18s squad again this season.”
“At the start of the season I’ll be looking at our junior squads and see what other players I think could step up. We have a great junior development system in Telford so watch out for more juniors.”
Bartholomew is looking forward to returning for another season with Tigers 2 commenting;
“I’m glad to be back for my second season with Tigers 2 and I’m also glad to be back with the lads. I’m hoping we can build on last year and go one better.”

Again, for the 2019/20 season, Telford Tigers are offering individual player sponsorship at £200. The package will include a personalised ‘SPECIAL’ exclusive third jersey with either a company name or family name patch, announcements on match nights, a small advert or logo in the match night programmes and a signed player photo. The jersey will be worn for cup games and play-off games and will not be available to purchase as a replica.
