Barts is Back! Liam returns to Telford Tigers 2

Telford Tigers are pleased to announce that Liam Bartholomew will be returning to Telford Tigers 2 for the 2024/25 season.

Bartholomew or ‘Barts’ as he’s known as, started his season with Moralee North 1 side, Solihull Barons, but is now set to make a return ‘home’.

Bartholomew made his senior Tigers debut back in 2018 and has pulled a Tigers jersey ever since. Last season, the 22-year old secured a personal best where he picked up a respectable 26 points in 26 games. Since joining Telford, Bartholomew has been an asset to the team, seamlessly transitioning between offensive and defensive play.

Bartholomew commented on his return to the club saying;

“I’m buzzing to be back with Tigers for the rest of the season. The lads have made a great start to the season, and we’re all looking to go one better this year. I’m looking forward to working under the team’s new coaching system and giving it everything for the team and club this season. Up the Tigs!”

Andy Watt, Tigers 2 Coach, commented on the signing:

“The team and I are excited to welcome back Barts. As a familiar face known for his high energy and determination on the ice, we are really looking forward to Bart lacing up his skates for the team once again. His return undoubtedly strengthens our defence and provides the depth we’ve been striving to secure.”

Both the club and Liam would like to thank LeeBeez Transport for being Liam’s player sponsor for the 2024/25 season.
