Telford Tigers are delighted to announce that Connor Bennett will play for the Laidler Division team in the 2024/25 season.
The 17 year old debuted for the Laidler Division team last season whilst also playing for the club’s U18 team. Bennett scored his first ever senior level goal during the season and appeared 29 times for the double winning team. Connor will wear the number 11 shirt.
Bennett commented on his signing for the club:
“It was a great first season at senior level hockey last season, not expecting to achieve what we did. I’m excited to see what we can achieve this season coming.”
Andy Watt, Tigers 2 Coach, commented on the signing:
“Despite starting the game later at U15s, Connor has quickly become a powerful skater with a tremendous shot, earning his first senior goal last season. He has a fantastic work rate and attitude towards the game. It’ll be great to see him progress this season.”
