Brown Back Between the Pipes for Tigers 2

Telford Tigers are delighted to announce the return of netminder Zack Brown, who rejoins the club after last representing the Tigers in the 2022/23 season.

Known for his sharp reactions, composure under pressure, and reliable consistency, Zack has often been seen posting save percentages of over 90%, making him one of the most dependable netminders in the league.

Throughout his senior career, Brown has built an impressive hockey CV, earning several honours, including:

  • NIHL Player of the Month
  • NIHL 2 North First All-Star Team
  • NIHL 2 North Player of the Year

Zack was also instrumental in the 2021–2022 NIHL 2 North Championship and again in the 2022–2023 NIHL 2 North Playoff Championship, contributing significantly to Tigers 2 success during those seasons.

Brown comes back from the Hull Jets with invaluable experience, a track record of success, and a strong bond with the club, ready to make an immediate impact.

Telford Tigers 2 Head Coach, Jason Silverthorn, shared his excitement about the signing:

“Zack’s return strengthens our squad in goal with his experience and winning mentality. He’ll bring reliability and confidence to the position, complementing our group of younger netminders and giving the team a solid foundation to build from.”

Zack Brown also expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Telford:

“It’s great to be back with Telford Tigers. I’ve always valued being part of the club and playing for our fantastic fans. I’m looking forward to putting my experience to work and contributing to the team this season.”

The club looks forward to seeing Zack back between the pipes as he strengthens Tigers 2’s roster for the remaining 2025/26 campaign.

Welcome home, Zack!
