As the club shared recently, we have worked tirelessly with various partners to meet a range of challenges facing not just Telford Tigers, but ice hockey in the UK generally. A significant amount of work has been undertaken behind the scenes, and we can now more widely start to share the outcomes.
Alongside our sponsors, we have continued to work closely with Telford & Wrekin Council to build on our existing relationship, developing an enhanced partnership that has taken time to bring together. As a result, we are pleased to confirm Telford & Wrekin Council as a key partner of the club. Their support across multiple areas has been invaluable and has played a significant role in enabling us to move forward with confidence.
The strengthened partnership between Telford & Wrekin Council and Telford Tigers marks the closest alignment the two organisations have ever shared. As a result, the Council will provide direct support to the club throughout the season and beyond, with their presence becoming increasingly visible across a range of club activities. We are proud to recognise the significant contribution they have made and look forward to building on this partnership in the years ahead.

“Telford Tigers are a proud part of the Borough’s sporting scene and carry the name of our town all over the country as they compete in the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL). Telford is a big place and we’re keen to do as much as we can to support the progress of local teams to competitive levels befitting of a town of Telford’s size. Many residents and visitors also associate Telford with our Council-run ice rink, where the club plays its home matches. As stated previously, we now move forward at pace. While much of our work has taken place behind the scenes, we have been making significant progress across all areas of the club as we prepare for the season ahead.
We know our supporters are keen to hear more, and I can assure you there is plenty more to come. In the coming days and weeks, we will be sharing further exciting news, including the announcement of our new headline sponsor, our wider sponsors group and our new jerseys, to name just a few.
