Tigers 2 rearranged fixture. The Club can confirm that Hexagon Telford Tigers 2 are now set to play a rearranged fixture against Sutton Sting on Wednesday 22nd March.
The initial league fixture was due to take place on Saturday 14th January and was postponed by Sutton Sting due to ice requirements for the Laidler Cup.
With limited ice time available in Sheffield, backroom staff at Telford Tigers have been working hard to get the fixture rearranged for a reasonable date and time for players, including offering to play the fixture at Telford Ice Rink.
After several weeks of discussion, a concluding decision was made for the fixture to be played at IceSheffield on Wednesday 22nd March, unfortunately with a face-off time of 9:30pm.
Despite being arranged at short notice, coaching staff and players of Telford Tigers 2 have agreed to play the fixture, as this was the only option available to them to avoid the 0-0 draw that would have been awarded for forfeiting the game.
