Club Update

As we gear up for another exciting weekend of hockey, we have several important updates to share regarding the team rosters. Here’s the latest news from the Tigers’ camp:

Luka Joins Tigers 2
The club announce that Vladimir Luka has permanently transferred to the Tigers 2 team with immediate effect. This move will provide Vlad the opportunity to stay playing in Telford while strengthening the Tigers 2 roster. He will be available for selection starting this weekend, and we’re excited to see his impact as part of the team.

Bloor Heads to Sheffield
We have also agreed with Matty Bloor for him to sign a two-way agreement with the Sheffield Scimitars. This arrangement will allow Matty to gain valuable ice time while remaining registered with the Tigers as an emergency option. While his priority will now be Sheffield, Matty remains an integral part of the Tigers’ family, and we look forward to his continued development.

Thomson Back in Action
In positive news, David Thomson has made a successful recovery a broken finger and will return to the lineup this weekend. David’s resilience and hard work during rehab have been exemplary, and we’re thrilled to have him back on the ice.

Price Faces Lengthy Layoff
Unfortunately, Jake Price underwent knee surgery on Wednesday at Oswestry Orthopaedic Hospital following a recent on ice injury. The procedure went well, but Jake is expected to be unavailable for 9 to 12 months as he focuses on his recovery. The club sends Jake our best wishes during this challenging time, and we look forward to welcoming him back when the time is right.

Thank you for your continued support as we navigate these developments. Let’s rally behind both teams and show our support this weekend!
