Club Updates: Telford Tigers 2

The club can confirm a number of changes to the Telford Tigers 2 roster.

Hal Griffiths and Henri Kohvakka have both been released from the Telford Tigers 2 roster. Both players have made valuable contributions during their time with the club, showing commitment and professionalism whenever called upon. The club would like to thank Hal and Henri for their efforts in a Tigers jersey and for their role within the Tigers 2 setup, wishing them every success in the next chapter of their hockey careers.

In addition, Paul Davies has made the personal decision to take a step back from hockey. The club fully respects Paul’s decision and would like to place on record its thanks for his commitment and contributions in a Tigers jersey, wishing him all the very best moving forward.

Commenting on the changes, Telford Tigers 2 Jason Silverthorn said:

“Decisions like these are never easy, but as a coach you have to make choices based on what is best for the success and development of the team. The setup now is very different to the past, with roster limits in place and operating at a semi-professional level where players aren’t paying to play. To make this work, we have to remain competitive. We thank and wish all the players involved in recent changes the best moving forward.”

The club remains fully committed to developing hockey in Telford, continuing to offer a clear pathway for players between the two leagues as part of its long-term approach to nurturing talent within the Tigers organisation.
