Telford Tigers 1 are pleased to announce the signing of 21 year old defenceman Corey Goodison for the 4th year. Goodison was part of the 2016-17 EPL Championship winning team and also the NIHL North Playoff winning team from last year. Goodison scored 13 goals and totalled 28 points for the season, his highest tally in the NIHL.
General Manager and Head Coach Tom Watkins said, “I am very pleased to have Corey back on board. He has developed into a very important member of the team. He is a great example to any young player who wants to play. He set his sights on cracking the line-up 3 years ago and his determination to achieve that has been fun to watch. He is now one of our top D men. He skates well, is very quick off the mark, battles well and has a heavy shot. He is an important member of the team and plays on both the power play and penalty kill.
Corey added, “I am delighted to be returning for my 4th season with the Tigers and I can’t wait to see what the season brings, hopefully we can win some silverware.”

New for 2018/19, Tigers are offering individual player sponsorship at £400. The package includes a personalised ‘special’ third jersey with a company name or family name patch, announcements on match nights, a small advert or logo in the match night programmes and a signed player photo.
