Crowe Returns to Tigers 2.

Telford Tigers are pleased to announce that Stephen Crowe will be returning to Telford Tigers for the 2024/25 season.

31 year old defenseman Crowe starts his fifth year with the club and was part of the club’s Laidler team double winning success last season. Stephen will wear the number 25 shirt in the forthcoming season.

Crowe commented on his signing for the club:

“I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season. We’ve had a successful few seasons and I really believe we can keep that success up throughout the 24/25 season. It’s great to see some new faces involved with the coaching and management this season. Also, great to see some younger players stepping up this season to fill the gaps of those who have moved on from last year.

I’m also really excited to be icing with the one and only, Ben Washburn. He’s promised to put up loads of points this season so will be great to watch…

I want to thank all of the fans for their continued support and look forward to catching up with you all soon.

Up the Tigs!”

Andy Watt, Tigers 2 Coach, commented on the signing:

“I’m excited to have the big guy back on our blue line for this season. Stephen is a steady, stay at home defender with great vision and can deliver solid passes to create scoring chances. This season I would like to see him net the goals his performances deserve.
