Telford Tigers are pleased to announce the return of Dan Mitchell for the 2024/25 season. Mitchell will return for his seventh year with the Tigers, his third as a full time player for Telford Tigers 2.
The 23-year-old forward will be wearing his trademark number 88 jersey as he looks to continue his point scoring tally after reaching 50 points for the Laidler Division team over the last three seasons.
Mitchell commented on his signing for the club,
“I am looking forward to another season with Telford. We have had a few very good seasons and I know this year is going to be same. I’m looking forward to getting on the ice and making sure we end the season with more achievements.”
Andy Watt, Tigers 2 Coach, commented on the signing:
“We’re thrilled to have Mitch back for another season. He’s an electric, dependable player who brings fun and ease to the game every time he’s on the ice. He works well under pressure and can turn the dial when we’re really in need. His cup final performance last season is exemplar of that… We’re looking forward to seeing more of that this coming season.”
