End of Season Awards: Fans’ Player Votes

Well folks, it’s certainly been a strange few months for us all. The abrupt end to the season sadly meant that we were unable to celebrate a double winning Telford Tigers 1 team like we would have wanted to.

With Government restrictions set to be in place over the next few months, it is now clear that we will sadly be unable to mark the success of the season with our usual presentation evening.

As many of you will know, our annual presentation isn’t just about celebrating success, it’s about thanking our sponsors, loyal fans and all the family and friends of players who put in the time and effort to make hockey happen in Telford. It is also a time to recognise hard-work and achievements of certain playing individuals as well as coaches, off-ice staff and volunteers.

We are still committed to recognising individuals for their success and somewhat outstanding performances this season and we’re hoping our fans can help us out…

Our Player Awards voting is NOW OPEN via our online form here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TTPres201920

There will be two winners in each category, one player from Tigers 1 and one player from Tigers 2.

  • Defence-man of the Year
  • Forward of the Year
  • Most Improved Player of the Year
  • MVP

Only one vote per device will count and the winners of each category will be announced at our ‘Virtual Presentation Evening’. Details of this virtual event will be released in due course.

Voting closes Monday 25th May, 23:59pm.
