Excitement Builds as Telford Tigers Prepare for Pre-Season

The anticipation is mounting, and the excitement is palpable as Telford Tigers gear up for the annual pre-season launch weekend, this coming weekend. For Telford Tigers fans, this weekend promises to be a thrilling precursor to what is sure to be an action-packed season.

The pre-season festivities kick off on Saturday 9th September as Telford Tigers fans have the chance to see the first bit of on-ice action before the season officially begins.

Telford Tigers 2 will conclude their pre-season series with a thrilling fixture against formidable North 1 side, Widnes Wild. After taking Wild to penalties in the first of the two fixtures, Tigers 2 will be looking to gain more valuable experience against strong competition. 

The following day, Telford Tigers fans will be invited to the National team’s open practice. The open practice is an opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with their favourite players, witnessing their skills and teamwork in action. 

The open practice session will take place from 5pm on Sunday 10th September at Telford Ice Rink. 

The following weekend, the anticipation reaches a fever pitch as Telford Tigers 1, welcomes Peterborough Phantoms for their first clash of the season. This game marks the official start of the NIHL National pre-season and Telford Tigers will be looking to make a strong statement and set the tone for their 2023/24 campaign.

So mark your calendars for this weekend and get ready to show your support for the Telford Tigers. The roar of the crowd, the slap of the puck, and the thrill of the game are just around the corner… It’s time to let the games begin!

It should be noted that Club Tigers season tickets are not valid for pre-season fixtures. Season tickets are still being processed. Club Tigers members will be contacted via email when their season ticket is ready for collection.
