Griffin re-signs for Tigers 2!

Another familiar face returns to Telford for the upcoming season as Telford Tigers welcome back forward Callum Griffin!

The 24-year-old has played hockey in Telford for the past decade and is another product of the Telford junior hockey system. Griffin started his hockey career with Telford Venom before progressing through Telford Trojans, and Titans to then finally pull a jersey for Tigers. Callum has come off what was a great season for Tigers 2, accumulating 33 points in 27 games, including scoring a goal at the NIHL North play-off weekend!

Tigers 2 player coach Bowley is commented on Griffin’s return saying;

“I am pleased Griff is back for next season. He’s a great character in the room, he’s respected by all the lads, can shoot the puck really well and more importantly, he’s a player who competes every shift and buys into what’s asked of him. He impressed me last season with how he managed to chip in with some really big goals and I expect him to carry more of that goal scoring load next season. Another solid forward addition for us.”

Griffin, who will be returning to Telford Tigers 2 for another season is delighted to be returning commenting;

“I’m really happy to be signing for Telford Tigers for the upcoming season and hopefully going one better than last season and win some silverware!”

Callum’s #27 own and loan shirts are available to order now for £50 each (Home and Away). Please see the own and loan registration page for more details and to register.
