Telford Tigers are delighted to announce the return of young netminder Hal Griffiths for the 2024/25 season.
The 18 year old debuted for the Laidler Division team last season whilst also playing for the club’s U18 team. Griffiths won all 4 games he played for the Laidler Division team last season and recorded a .879 save percentage. Hal will continue to wear the number 50 shirt.
Griffiths commented on his signing for the club:
“I am delighted to return to the Laidler Division team after recently finishing my junior hockey career. I have played for Telford for almost 12 years, so it was the natural step to continue to play for Tigers. I am looking forward to getting lots of ice time and developing as a player next season.”
Andy Watt Tigers 2 Coach, commented on the signing:
“Success requires solid goaltending, and Hal delivered. Having played alongside Matty in the junior leagues, their strong bond drives them to excel. Hal’s impressive final U18 season and summer training boosts our team and I’m excited to see the competition between our goaltenders this season.”
