Harrison back on the blue line for Tigers 2

With the start of the 2019/20 league campaign for Telford Tigers 2 only a matter of hours away, the Club are pleased to announce the return of defence-man Simon Harrison! 

Harrison’s senior Telford hockey career began in 2002 where he first iced for Telford Rockets. Since then, the 29-year-old has appeared on the roster for Telford Trojans, Nottingham Leopards and Lions, Telford Titans, Solihull Barons and of course; Telford Tigers; playing across a total of six difference leagues. 

Tigers 2 coach Fielder is looking forward to working with Harrison this season saying;

“It’s great to have Simon back on board. He’s a solid d-man and great addition to the team who set’s a good example for the younger players on the team.”

The returning defence-man is delighted to be pulling a Telford Tigers jersey again this season commenting;

“I’m really glad to be back and looking forward to the season ahead. The team is looking strong and we have a good group of guys in the dressing room. I truly believe we have the capability to reach the top spot this year if the team continues to work has hard as they have been these past few weeks during the pre-season.”

Again, for the 2019/20 season, Telford Tigers are offering individual player sponsorship at £200. The package will include a personalised ‘SPECIAL’ exclusive third jersey with either a company name or family name patch, announcements on match nights, a small advert or logo in the match night programmes and a signed player photo. The jersey will be worn for cup games and play-off games and will not be available to purchase as a replica.
