National Cup Semi-Final 2nd Leg. It’s that time already, the Hexagon Telford Tigers take on MK Lightning on Wednesday evening in the 2nd leg of the NIHL National Cup Semi-Final. The second and deciding leg of the semi-final will see the Tigers face off against MK Lightning on Wednesday 9th February at 19:45 face in Telford Ice Rink.
Tigers will resume the fixture 6 – 4 down on aggregate after relinquishing a two-goal advantage in the third period of the first leg and will need the ROAR of the Tigers faithful to be the 6th man on the ice to help the team.
Head Coach Tom Watkins said “Wednesday is going to be a tough game for us, we are starting with a two-goal deficit, we have already had some close match-ups this season with MK so it could go either way. We have a strong dressing room and a team that is used to winning against the odds. I know the lads want to put that 3rd period right and make it to the final.”
