Telford Tigers 2 are pleased to announce the return of defenceman Josh Hustwick for the 2025/26 season. Known to fans as “Chip,” Hustwick brings size, physicality, and valuable experience to the Tigers’ defensive core, adding depth and balance to the line-up as the team targets another successful campaign. Josh will wear the number 18 shirt in the forthcoming season.
Josh commented, “I am delighted to be back for another season. When I spoke with Silvs it was clear of the vision he had for the season and the goals we have been set and I’m excited to be part of it. I feel like I’ve put a good amount of work in this off season to put me in the best position to help the team this season achieve what we are aiming to!”
Telford Tigers 2 coach Jason Silverthorn, commented on the signing of Hustwick:
“Having Chip back was a no brainer. He brings size and physicality to our defensive group as well as a left hand shot to balance out our pairings. He has experience and quality that will add to our depth and help to develop some of our younger players as well as being a positive presence in and around the locker room.”
