Telford Tigers 2 are delighted to announce the signing of forward Brodie Jesson, who returns to his hometown club after a spell away from Telford. A product of the Tigers’ junior system, Jesson has already amassed over 120 senior appearances for Telford and brings proven scoring ability and experience back to the squad. Jesson will re-join Telford wearing the number 61 jersey.
Brodie commented on his return, “I’m really looking forward to being back home after a couple of years away. Silvs and Mike are creating something really exciting. It’s a great time for the team to make the step and when Jason called me, it was a no brainer. I can’t wait to be playing alongside my best mates again.”
Telford Tigers 2 coach Jason Silverthorn, commented on the signing of Brodie:
“Brodie was one of my first calls when I agreed to take over the team. It was important to me and Tommy to get some of the local players who had left Telford back where they belong now that we can offer that next level of hockey.
Brodie brings experience as a scorer and quality on the puck. He has the ability to be a constant threat and to be an impact player offensively. This will allow us to have more depth to our line up allowing us to be creative with how we match up with our opposition. Having been close to Brodie and his family for years it’s great to have him back in Telford and I look forward to working with him again.”
