Telford Tigers are pleased to announce that Josh Hustwick will be returning to Telford Tigers for the 2024/25 season.
29 year old Hustwick rejoined the club in January after taking a break from competitive hockey and was part of the club’s Laidler team double winning success, scoring 16 points. Josh will wear the number 18 shirt in the forthcoming season.
Hustwick commented on his signing for the club: “
“I cannot wait to dive into the new season headfirst, after taking sometime out the beginning of last season my return provided me with some unbeatable memories with massive highs personally as well as for us as a team, the lads welcomed me back with open arms, which I think reflects how much love we all have for each other alongside our long for the sport.
Coming into this season I am in the best shape I have been in during my hockey career; I cannot wait to get back on the ice with the team and hopefully win some more silverware.”
Andy Watt, Tigers 2 Coach, commented on the signing:
“Building on last year’s success, Hustwick is a vital part of our defensive. With extensive league experience, he strengthens our line-up and contributes impressive numbers in the offensive zone. It’s great to have him back.”
