Telford Tigers 2 are pleased to announce the signing of defencemen, Connor Keyes, who joins from local rivals Coventry Blaze NIHL. The 22-year-old brings size and toughness to Coach Bowley’s line-up, and is expected to develop his game even further with the Tigers. The stay at home defenceman iced two games this season for the Coventry Blaze NIHL outfit, collecting 50 penalties in minutes and one assist in the process. Coach Bowley is delighted to have added Connor and had the following to say “I am really pleased Connor wanted to join us. He’s a guy that can play, keeps everything simple and will do what it takes for the team to win. He also adds some size and toughness to our line-up, which is an area I feel we needed to address. He’s willing to learn, has a great attitude and I believe he will slot quite nicely into our team and defensive core.”
