Scott has served the Tigers first team as captain on two occasions and continues in that role once again this season. He is a very popular figure in UK Ice Hockey and well respected by his teammates and opposition alike. He is extremely passionate about Telford Tigers serving as the Telford Tigers 2 coach for a number of seasons and is a huge ambassador for the club and ice hockey in the community.

He has contributed to three league titles, two cup wins and playoff championship. On the night of celebrating, his 502nd game Scott sits in 4th place of the all time game played by a Telford Tigers player.

The club would also like to acknowledge two individuals at Telford Tigers 2. Ben Washburn and Callum Griffin both recently reached an incredible milestone, having played 200 competitive games for Telford Tigers 2.

Both Ben and Callum joined Telford Tigers in 2014 and have pulled a Tigers jersey ever since contributing to a league title and a double cup and playoff championship title.

Ben, who wore the captaincy badge in 2019 has also served Telford Tigers 2 as assistant captain for two season and continues in that role once again this season. Callum has also played a big part in the team’s leadership having also been assistant captain for Telford Tigers 2.

Throughout their time with us at Telford Tigers, these two players have not only demonstrated exceptional talent on the ice but have also shown outstanding sportsmanship, leadership, and camaraderie off the ice. On the night of celebrating, Ben played his 213th game and Callum played his 201st game.
