McNaughton Returns to Tigers 2.

Telford Tigers are pleased to announce that Connor McNaughton will be returning to Telford Tigers for the 2024/25 season.

McNaughton joined the club last season and was part of the club’s Laidler team success scoring 26 points and racking up 38 penalty minutes last season. Connor will wear the number 95 shirt in the forthcoming season.

McNaughton commented on his signing for the club: “

“It is great to be part of the Telford organisation for a second year in a row. After such a successful last season with the team, I am sure we will be looking to bring home more silverware in the 24-25 season. After several years away from competitive hockey, the lads made me feel right at home and easily made last season the best year of hockey for myself personally. It will be fun to see some familiar and new faces on and off the ice. See you all in September!”

Andy Watt, Tigers 2 Coach, commented on the signing:

“Every team needs character, and Connor delivers in this area in both the dressing room and on the ice. He is willing to put his body on the line for the team each and every night and gives the team a boost when in need. We’re glad he is back with us.”
