Telford Tigers 2 are delighted to announce that Josh Minns will make his senior debut with the team for the 2025/26 season.
Josh, who continues to develop his game with the Telford U19s side, made his first appearance for Tigers 2 last season when he stepped in to support the squad on the road. His impressive attitude and commitment earned him the opportunity to now join the senior team on a full-time basis, marking an exciting new chapter in his hockey journey.
Josh commented on his step up to Telford Tigers 2 saying;
“I’m delighted to be chosen for this role on the team and I firmly believe we can have a really strong first season with a very talented and organised squad. I can’t wait to play in front of Tigers fans this year and get the season rolling!”
Telford Tigers 2 coach Jason Silverthorn, commented on the recruitment of Minns;
“Josh was an important signing for us as a Telford junior who is showing promise and looking to make his way into senior hockey this season on a more full time basis. After speaking to Tommy, we thought it was important to get him regular ice with the Tigers 2 team at practice and at games when it doesn’t clash with his junior commitments to help in his transition out of junior hockey. Having worked with Josh last year, I’m looking forward to helping him grow and fulfill the potential that he is showing when playing at his own age group.”
