Oxley also made a National league debut guesting for Peterborough Phantoms last season. For the upcoming season, Robert will wear the number 5 shirt.

Oxley commented on his signing for the club:

” I’m really looking forward to joining the Tigers. Having played a few tournaments at Telford over the years and trained here during the summer for the last 2 seasons, I know a little bit about the club and I can’t wait to get started for real, alongside my new teammates.  I’m excited to continue my development under Jason and Tom and contribute to what will hopefully be a successful season. Go Tigers!”

Andy Watt, Tigers 2 Coach, commented on the signing:

“I first coached Robert in Milton Keynes at U11/U13s, and his technical skating skills stood out. I’m pleased he’s joining Tigers 2 for the upcoming season. Despite his youth, he brings experience from the National league, North 1 and 2. I’m excited to have the opportunity to further develop his game.”
