Telford Tigers are pleased to announce the return another familiar face for the upcoming season as Will Reed returns for a fourth season with Telford Tigers 2.
The youngster started his hockey career in 2013 where he iced for the Solihull Barons under 16’s team. Since then, Reed has progressed his way through the Solihull junior system before joining the Telford Tigers under 18’s team during the 2016/17 season. The 17-year-old has also iced for the Midlands Conference under 17’s squad in addition to playing for Telford Tigers under 18’s and NIHL squads and England under 19’s. Reed made his senior Tigers debut during the 2016/17 season and has played for Telford Tigers 2 ever since.
Tigers 2 coach Fielder is delighted to have Reed on board commenting;
“Will is a good young defenceman. I first saw Will play when he was competing with the Midlands U17’s team and I saw a lot of potential. I’m looking forward to working with Will to help him improve his game and progress in the sport.
Reed, who will be returning to the Tigers 2 for a fourth season is looking forward to the upcoming season saying;
“I’m really excited to be back in Telford this season and looking forward to working with a new coach. After missing the end of last season due to injury, I can’t wait to get going again and hopefully win some silverware.”

Again, for the 2019/20 season, Telford Tigers are offering individual player sponsorship at £200. The package will include a personalised ‘SPECIAL’ exclusive third jersey with either a company name or family name patch, announcements on match nights, a small advert or logo in the match night programmes and a signed player photo. The jersey will be worn for cup games and play-off games and will not be available to purchase as a replica.
