It is with great sadness that Club announces the recent passing of former Telford Tigers player and coach, Paul O’Higgins, aged 66.
Paul was a well known character to the ice hockey community, commonly known as ‘the legend’ having iced for Solihull Barons, Nottingham Panthers and Telford Tigers between the years of 1977 and 1992.
Paul dedicated a lot of time to Telford Tigers, including coaching the Club’s junior team which at the time included Tigers’ forward Ricky [Rick] Plant.
Our most sincere condolences go out to all of Paul’s family and friends and those who knew Paul.
