Rose returns – Danny signs on for Tigers 1!

Danny Rose back 6th June

Telford Tigers 1 are pleased to announce the re-signing of Danny Rose. The long serving Defence man has been a fan favourite ever since signing for Telford Tigers in the 2012/13 season. The approaching 2018/19 season will be Danny’s 7thseason in a Telford jersey.

The #12 had his best professional points haul last season in Telford, chipping in with 28 points in the 2017/18 season making him the 2nd highest Defence man points scorer.

General Manager and Head Coach Tom Watkins added: “For me Danny is one of those guys you rely on heavily as coach, he can play a variety of roles for the team and is now vastly experienced in a Tigers shirt and has been part of all the Tigers winning team in recent seasons, playing a pivotal role. He has a lot of attributes that are key but his skating ability is what sets him apart, he is quick, has good mobility and agility and for a Defence man that is very important. ”

Danny is delighted to be re-signing for Tigers 1 again this season, commenting; “I’m excited to be back in Telford for my 7th straight season, it was an easy decision for me to make and was the right decision, I know that Tom will have recruited guys that want to win and will buy in to that every day and hopefully we will bring the silverware back with us! I can’t wait to get back to it, going to be an exciting season!”

Danny’s own and loan shirts are available to order now for £100 each (Home and Away). Please see the own and loan registration page for more details and to register.

New for 2018/19 Tigers are offering individual player sponsorship at £400. The package includes a personalised ‘special’ third jersey with a company name or family name patch, announcements on match nights, a small advert or logo in the match night programmes and a signed player photo.
