As deadline day for the transfer window quickly looms upon us, Telford Tigers are very pleased to share some exciting news. The Club can now confirm the re-signing of netminder Zack Brown who will be re-joining the Tigers 2 roster for the remainder of the season.
Zack joined Telford Tigers 2 partly through the 2017/18 season, where he had previously been icing for Hull Pirates, competing in the Moralee North 1 League; a time before the National League was introduced.
Having iced for clubs such as Hull Pirates, Sutton Sting and Sheffield Senators and Steeldogs, the 23-year-old brings valuable experience and skills to the Tigers 2 outfit.
Telford Tigers 2 coach Dave Fielder is pleased to have signed Zack for the rest of the season, commenting:
“I’m really pleased to welcome Zack back into the mix. Even-though I’m yet to work with Zack, I’ve been impressed with his performances over the past couple of seasons when I have seen him play. He’s a great character in the dressing room, and should provide the team with some confidence for the remainder of the season.”
After securing an average save percentage last season of over 91% in 31 games, Zack is returning to the club with an optimistic attitude and is hopeful for a success few months to complete the season.
Zack is looking forward to returning to Telford Tigers commenting;
“I’m really looking forward to being back with boys and seeing what we can achieve. Even though there’s only 9 games left of the season, we need to be looking to push on and try and progress.”
Zack’s individual player sponsorship is also available to purchase for £200. The package includes a personalised ‘special’ third jersey with a company name or family name patch, announcements on match nights, a small advert or logo in the match night programmes and a signed player photo.
