Simon Harrison returns to Telford Tigers 2!

As the 2018/19 season is well underway for Hexagon Telford Tigers, the club have an exciting announcement to make! Telford Tigers 2 are pleased to welcome back defenceman Simon Harrison to the roster!

Harrison has played hockey since 2002, where he first iced for Telford Rockets. Since then, the 28-year-old has appeared on the roster for Telford Trojans, Nottingham Leopards and Lions, Telford Titans, Solihull Barons and of course; Telford Tigers. Last season proved to be difficult for the defence-man after an injury prevented him from icing. The cut short season didn’t stop Harrison’s determination and this season he’s back to make his mark!

The returning defence-man is delighted to be pulling a Telford Tigers jersey again this season commenting;

“It’s great to back! Was tough having to cut last season short due to injury, but I’m really glad and looking for to be getting back on the ice this season. The team is looking a lot stronger this year and the results from last games have shown that, I really think we’ll be push for the top spot this season and getting that play-off win”

Telford Tigers 2 player-coach Callum Bowley is thrilled to have re-signed Simon again for this season and had the following to say;

“I’m pleased to welcome Si back after a difficult season due to injury, but that all seems to be behind him now and I’m glad he’s back in the line-up. He plays with his heart on his sleeve, always turns up prepared to battle for the team, is a consistent player and leads by example. Si certainly gives us more depth and quality given he can play as a forward or defenceman, he will be a massive boost to our line-up.”

Simon’s #8 own and loan shirts are available to order now for £50 each (Home and Away). Please see the own and loan registration page for more details and to register.
