During last night’s fixture against Sheffield Steeldogs, Devon Skoleski sustained an injury which saw him leave the ice immediately for medical attention on his knee.
Devon spent the night in Sheffield hospital and travelled home earlier this morning.
Despite having an examination and x-ray at the hospital, a full diagnosis wasn’t achievable due to the amount of swelling. Once the swelling has settled, an MRI scan will be carried out. At this point, it is too early to determine the severity of his injury but he will be out of the line-up indefinitely at this stage.
The club is currently supporting Devon in retrieving a quick diagnosis for his injury.
The penalty given to Henry Adams for kneeing during the game has been reviewed and sent to EIH Department of Player Safety. The outcome of this decision is expected to be published during the week.
As a result of Devon not being available for selection, Jason Silverthorn will be dressing to play as part of the roster tonight in Swindon.
