A Tribute To Adam Johnson.
Now onto something that puts rivalries aside. At tonight’s game we will pay tribute and celebrate the life of #47 Adam Johnson following the tragic accident that occurred last weekend.
Everyone at Telford Tigers is deeply saddened by the tragic passing Adam Johnson and our thoughts and condolences remain with Adam’s family, his partner, and all his loved ones at this incredibly sad and difficult time.
There will be a moment of silence ahead of the game, a time for players, staff and fans alike to reflect on the tragic loss of Adam. Both Telford Tigers and Peterborough Phantoms fans are then encouraged to unite under these sad circumstances and join forces in paying tribute to Adam during the 47th minute of the game with continuous applause.
The Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Club have launched this official fundraiser, with the permission of Adam’s family, to raise money for the “Love for Hibbing and Hockey Memorial Fund”.
The purpose of this fund is to support local charitable activities in the Hibbing area (Adam’s home town) as selected by the Johnson Family. If you feel you can, please donate to this fundraiser in support of the fund established in Adam’s memory.

Neck Guard Donations
We have also been in touch with Telford Tigers fan Mike O’Leary who has kindly reached out to support us with acquiring neck guards for both teams.
Mike has taken it upon himself to lead a donation drive aimed at providing both Telford Tigers teams with neck guards. His unwavering commitment to the Tigers’ well-being is truly commendable.
Tonight, you’ll find Mike at merchandise table fixture, eager to collect any contributions and make a tangible difference in the players’ protection on the ice.
