The club can confirm that Callum Griffin has departed Telford Tigers 2 with immediate effect. Callum has been a long-standing and loyal member of the Tigers setup, having played all of his hockey in Telford, and the club would like to place on record its sincere thanks for his commitment and dedication throughout his time with us.
Throughout his time in Telford colours, Callum was a central figure during a remarkable period of success for the club, contributing to Tigers 2 lifting three league titles, two league cup titles, and two playoff championships. Beyond his performances on the ice, he was a real character within the team bringing energy, humour, and personality to the dressing room, making him a memorable and much-liked presence among players and staff alike.
Telford Tigers Head Coach Jason Silverthorn said:
“Callum has been a big part of this team for many years, and his influence stretched far beyond the ice. His personality drove the group and he always brought positive energy to the dressing room. We’re grateful for everything he’s given to the club and wish him all the best for the future.”
The club once again thanks Callum for his contributions and for the commitment he has shown since first stepping into senior hockey in Telford. We wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.
