Hexagon Telford Tigers 2 bag a ‘Supa’ signing! Hexagon Telford Tigers are pleased to announce the return of Slovakian import Filip Supa. Filip joins Tigers 2 from Solihull Barons where he iced for the start of this season picking up 14 points from 8 goals and 6 assists in 22 games.
Supa is no stranger to Telford having iced for the Moralee Tigers 1 side only last season and becomes an addition to the Tigers 2 roster following the unfortunate long term injury that Karol Jets sustained back in September which has brought his season to an unfortunate premature close.
Telford Tigers 2 player coach Callum Bowley said “I’m extremely pleased to have added Supa after losing Jetsy to a long-term injury. We needed some more experience to help develop our younger players and I think in Filip we have that, as well as someone who can make a real difference for us on the ice. He gives us a huge boost.”
Filip will be returning to Telford with both Moralee and Laidler game experience under his belt having previously icing for NIHL 2 sides Widnes Wild, Deeside Dragons and Chelmsford Chieftains.
When asked about his return to Telford, Supa commented “I’m really excited to be back in a Tigers shirt and I’m grateful that I found a team to play for at this stage of the season. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to bring more scoring power and experience to the team to help us moving forward.”
