Telford Tigers are delighted to announce the signing of forward Lewis Conroy ahead of the 2026/27 NIHL North Division 1 season.
The talented 17-year-old joins the club on a two-way agreement with Milton Keynes Lightning, having already gained valuable experience at NIHL level during the 2025/26 campaign.
A product of the Milton Keynes junior system, Conroy arrives in Telford looking to continue his development while gaining valuable senior ice time. Comfortable playing through the middle, he brings excellent puck skills, pace and plenty of potential to the Tigers 2 lineup.
Tigers 2 Head Coach Jason Silverthorn believes the move will provide the ideal platform for Conroy to continue his progression.
“Lewis is a young, talented player who we have on a two-way with the MK Lightning. After spending time within the National League club last season, Lewis comes to us looking to get important minutes playing with good players and looking to continue his development.
He shows very good puck skills and above-average speed right now as a young player. We will be looking to get him into the right positions with strong players to help continue his growth, as well as looking to drive his compete level to help him be successful at the senior level. I’m really excited about his upside and working with him this season.”
Conroy becomes the latest addition to the Tigers 2 roster as preparations continue for the upcoming NIHL North Division 1 campaign, with the club continuing to provide opportunities for talented young players to develop and progress within a competitive senior environment.
