Telford Tigers are extremely sad to share the news of the passing of Roger Bates.
Roger was passionate about sport and spent many years as Chairman of the Telford Junior Club as well as leading safeguarding for the Midlands.
For over a decade, Roger also was known as the Telford Tigers music man, and dedicated hours of his time to the Club for most of the 1990’s and 2000’s.
Telford Tigers will never forget the contribution made by Roger and will always be grateful of his time that he committed to hockey in Telford.
Everyone connected with Telford Tigers joins the wider ice hockey family in sending our deepest condolences to the Bates family at this profoundly sad time.
