Telford Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of defenceman Krisjanis Fugalis, who joins the club ahead for the remainder of the NIHL National League campaign.
Standing at over six feet, Fugalis cuts an imposing figure on the ice. He joins the Tigers with a proven blend of physicality, composure, and two-way reliability. qualities that will strengthen and steady the team’s blue-line core.
Telford Tigers Head Coach Tom Watkins commented on the signing of Fugalis;
“Unfortunately, we have to make difficult decisions in this role, but every one of them is made with the best interests of the team in mind – both short and long term. In signing Kris, we feel we’ve added a defenceman with a steady game, good size and strength, and solid fundamental skills. He has a defensive mindset that we believe we can continue to develop, and we see real potential for him to become a strong shutdown D-man at this level.”
