Telford Tigers Supports Remembrance Day

Telford Tigers Supports Remembrance Day. The Hexagon Telford Tigers will return to Telford Ice Rink this weekend with a double-header of home fixtures. On Saturday 11th November, Telford Tigers 2 will host North 2 league newcomers Billingham Buccaneers, facing off at 5:30pm. The following day, Telford Tigers 1 will be welcoming Sheffield Steeldogs to Telford for a 6pm face off.

With the games being held on Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday, Telford Tigers will hold a ceremony of remembrance ahead of face-off with a wreath of poppies being laid on the centre of the ice, followed by a moment of silence.

The club would like to say a special thanks to Colin Winton who has supported the club in these arrangements.

Every year, thousands of people show their support with a personal Tribute. You can share your message on the virtual field of remembrance through the Royal British Legion.
