The Telford Tigers can confirm details for 2026/27 season tickets, with renewals and new purchases opening this week ahead of another exciting campaign for the club.
Existing season ticket holders may already have been contacted directly with information on how to renew their seats for the upcoming season.
From 9am this Wednesday, wider fans who wish to purchase a 2026/27 season ticket will be able to do so online and via the Telford Tickets Box Office, with the option to either pay in full or spread the cost across five instalments. To qualify for the instalment option, the first payment must be made by 31st May 2026.
All instalment payments must be completed prior to the club’s first home league fixture of the season, with the exact date to be confirmed once the 2026/27 league schedule has been finalised. Current season ticket holders will have until 26th June 2026 to renew and secure their existing seats. Following this deadline, any unrenewed seats will be released for general sale.
The club would also like to be transparent with supporters regarding pricing for the upcoming season. The increase in ticket pricing is primarily a result of significant rises in ice time overhead costs associated with Telford and Wrekin Council, who own and operate Telford Ice Rink.
Over recent seasons, the club has absorbed a number of increasing operational expenses wherever possible. However, the continued rise in rink-related charges, particularly around ice usage, has had a substantial impact on the overall cost of running both teams and delivering match nights.
Unlike many rinks and teams, the club does not benefit from secondary income streams such as the bar or café revenue within the rink, meaning the continued running and development of hockey in Telford relies heavily on ticketing, sponsorship, and supporter backing. As a result, adjustments to ticket pricing ahead of the 2026/27 season have become necessary to help ensure the long-term sustainability of the club.
Despite the wider increases being faced across the club, Telford Tigers 2 league match pricing will remain unchanged for the 2026/27 season. The club has taken the decision to maintain current pricing levels in order to continue supporting the development pathway while ensuring good quality hockey remains accessible for supporters and families
