The Final Three in Five for Telford Tigers 2

D2

The final three in five for Tigers 2. Hexagon Telford Tigers 2 head into their first of three games over the next five days this evening when they travel to IceSheffield to face Sutton Sting.

The rearranged fixture being played tonight at 9:30pm in Sheffield was confirmed earlier this week, following several weeks of discussion between the EIHA and Sutton Sting. The all important fixture was a ‘must play game’ for Tigers 2, avoiding the 0-0 draw that would have been awarded for forfeiting the game.

On Saturday [25th March] Telford Tigers 2 will be making a trip up to Hull, in a table topping battle for the Laidler league title. Facing off at 5:30pm at Hull Arena,

The following day, [Sunday 26th March] will be the concluding league fixture of the season for Tigers 2. They welcome Sheffield Titans to Telford Ice Rink for a 6pm face-off having only played them a couple of weeks prior on home ice.

Should Telford Tigers 2 take all of the six points available to them, and beat Hull by four goals on Saturday they will successfully retain the Laidler league title on Sunday night.

The Club, players and staff would like to extend their thanks to everyone who has supported both Telford Tigers 1 and Telford Tigers 2 this season. Whether you can be there in person in spirit, we need you to be that extra man on the ice for the final push over the next five days.

Action from all three games will reported live on the Telford Tigers 2 scores Twitter.
