Telford Tigers 2 are excited to confirm the return of 19-year-old goaltender Hal Griffiths to the squad for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign. A product of the Telford junior system, Griffiths has made impressive strides in his development and is now firmly establishing himself at senior level, preparing for his second full campaign with Tigers 2.
Hal commented on his return to Tigers 2 saying;
“I’m thrilled to be signing for Telford Tigers again. To be stepping up into the Moralee division is a challenge which I’m excited to face. I’m really looking forward to developing as a player further this season and playing to a greater professional standard in a more competitive league.”
Telford Tigers 2 coach Jason Silverthorn, commented on the re-signing of Griffiths:
“Having Hal back was important; he has all the qualities to be successful at the next level and comes to the rink with a good attitude, looking to improve. Keeping our young tandem together was near the top of our priority list. Being able to have three goalies capable of playing at this level and pushing each other with some healthy competition in practice and games can only be a benefit to us as a group.”
