Saturday 12th August 2017, saw the Telford Tigers band wagon set up for the family friendly Harefest fun day at the Hare and Hounds, Holyhead Road, Telford.
The event was organised by Jo and friends to raise money for MS stem cell treatment.
The Tigers volunteers arrived just after 11:00 am to set up ready for the crowds later in the afternoon. The big orange tent was quickly set up and decorated with Ice Hockey equipment and shirts from players past and present.
As the crowds arrived throughout the afternoon the volunteers sold 50:50 tickets with the £75 proceeds being donated to the Harefest cause.
The team spoke to many budding children and parents who were interested not only in the sport but how they could get started through learn to play.
Throughout the afternoon Roary the Tiger made a number of appearances to the joy of the crowds and the volunteers were joined by Macaulay Halford, Dennis Bell and Danny Rose.
At the end of the afternoon the tent was dismantled to leave room for the crowds to expand as the evening bands arrived to set up.
