Tigers supporting Telford Crisis Support

Telford-Crisis-Support 800w

Over the weekend of the 5th and 6th January, Telford Tigers will be holding collections in aid of Telford Crisis Support.

Tigers 2 play Sheffield Senators on Saturday the 5th face off at 19:00 and Tigers 1 play Hull Pirates on Sunday 6th, facing off at 18:00.

Post Christmas Telford Crisis Support will be very busy with people not getting paid early and not being able to stretch, or those on low incomes struggling to make ends meet.

We are asking fans on both evenings to bring an item to donate such as a tin of food or a healthcare item.  There will be donation bins available on entry to the rink.

The aim is to help replenish the Telford Crisis Support stocks of tinned meals, tinned meat, long life milk, pasta sauce etc.

Every little helps, if every fan that attends could donate just one item each we would make a massive difference to those that are less fortunate.

Tom Watkins, head coach and general manager said “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to highlight our community credentials again, we had a very successful Teddy Toss in aid of children in the PRH just before Christmas and our aim in partnering with Telford Crisis Support is to give a little back to the wider community at what can be a very tough time of year.  Please support us in this initiative and donate an item.”
