Telford Tigers are pleased to confirm the return of defenceman Corey Goodison ahead of the 2026/27 NIHL National season.
Goodison returns to Telford bringing valuable experience and familiarity to the Tigers blue line, with the coaching staff confident he will make an immediate impact both on and off the ice.
Head Coach Tom Watkins was delighted to secure the return of the experienced defenceman.
“We’re excited to bring Corey back to the club. He’s an experienced guy who we know very well and he’s highly motivated to return and play at this level. Corey is a strong skater with good mobility. He brings experience, reliability and depth to our defence, and we’re looking forward to seeing him back in a Tigers jersey.”
Goodison last iced for the Tigers during the 2024/25 season and supporters will have also seen him back in Telford colours earlier this year when he featured in the club’s highly successful Legends Game.
His return further strengthens the Tigers’ defensive unit as preparations continue for the upcoming campaign. Everyone at the club would like to welcome Corey back to Telford and wish him every success for the 2026/27 season.
Further details regarding the club’s Own and Loan jersey programme will also be announced in the coming weeks.
