Telford Tigers are delighted to announce the return of Joe Miller for the new season, the vastly experienced 32yr old forward re-joins the Tigers for what will be his ninth season in a Telford jersey. Joe first played in Telford in the 2003/04 season for the then Telford Wildfoxes, since then he has gone on to play for the Telford Tigers, Manchester Phoenix, Peterborough Phantoms and Basingstoke Bison, amassing over 550 EPIHL league appearances, in addition to 54 games in the Elite League.

Telford Tigers head coach and general manager Tom Watkins was very happy to have the three time EPIHL league and double cup winner back in Tigers colours for the upcoming season. Watkins said “I’m very excited to bring Joe back to Telford. I think having him back in a Tigers shirt makes a lot of sense for us both, Telford is now Joe’s home and for me we get another very good experienced player who will feel right at home in our dressing room. Joe has all the tools to be one of the leading offensive players in the league, he has nice hands in tight and can play in traffic, uses his body well to create space and he can score. He is a player that has the ability to get fans out of their seats and I’m sure he will play a very important role on our powerplay. I’m absolutely delighted to have him back in our line up.”

Joe himself is happy to be playing back in Telford, saying “I’m looking forward to the new season here in Telford, Tom is putting together a competitive team, the fans here always get behind the team and make it a great place to play hockey.”
