Telford Tigers D2 are delighted to announce the signing of 25-year-old forward, Scott Venus. Scott iced for the Coventry Blaze NIHL outfit last season, making 23 appearances and adding 73 penalty minutes to his name. Telford Tigers D2 coach, Callum Bowley, said “I’m really pleased that Scott has decided to join us for the upcoming season. He’s a gritty player that gives one hundred percent every shift and will fit nicely into our roster. He’s looking to prove himself in a Telford jersey and I’m sure he’ll do just that”.
Scott was equally as pleased at making the switch to Telford, stating “I can’t wait to start the season in a Tigers jersey and prove myself here. Having met most of the lads already, I have a really good feeling about this team, we have a great mix of characters and experience in the team and good juniors who are willing to make the step up, which will keep us older lads on our toes. I will give everything I have this upcoming season and I’ll be out to add more points to my game. Let’s have a great season and show the league who we are”.
