Warm up Warm up…… New jersery reveal

Cash & Carry Tyres 800w

Ahead of the release of the Telford Tigers new jerseys for the 2017/18 season which will see a return to the famous black and orange, the club is delighted to announce our new warm up jerseys sponsored by local business Cash and Carry Tyres.

Tigers Chairman Mike Washburn was delighted to welcome on board the Halesfield based company, saying ‘It’s great to welcome on board another local company as we embark on a new challenge this season. We have been working hard on sponsorship and bringing on new sponsors in addition to our returning sponsors shows that the club is building it’s reputation with the local business community as well as the fan base. We are delighted that Cash and Carry Tyres have joined our list of sponsors and look forward to working with them throughout the season’.

The shirts, which will feature a distinctive tyre theme, will be worn by both Telford Tigers teams for all 46 home games in the season.  Cash and Carry Tyres are a car tyre supplier based in Telford, with access to thousands of tyres, from budget to premium.  For all your tyre supply needs, please contact them via Facebook or phone 01952 769506.

Telford Tigers General Manager Tom Watkins said “It’s a real pleasure to offer a different and unique sponsorship package such as the Warm Up Jersey to Cash & Carry Tyres. I’m delighted to have them on board and must thank Dave Anson for his time and support in finalising this deal”.

Cash & Carry Tyres added “ As soon as we were presented with the opportunity to sponsor the Telford Tigers, we jumped at the chance. As a new business in Telford ourselves, the chance to do something new with the Telford Tigers, with the warm up Jerseys, it was an opportunity we didn’t want to miss out on, We thank Tom and Mike for giving us the chance to work with them and we wish both teams well for the upcoming season”

In addition to the Cash and Carry Tyres logo and distinctive tyre tread theme, the warm up jerseys will also carry the Help for Heroes charity logo on the front as the clubs chosen charity for the forthcoming season. Speaking about the decision to choose Help for Heroes as the clubs charity, Chairman Mike Washburn explained ‘When Tom and I were putting together the warm up jersey, we talked about having a nominated charity for the club and quickly decided that it was something we wanted to do, then it was a case of choosing a charity. This wasn’t an easy choice given the number of charities that do great work in Telford and the surrounding areas, but after much consideration, we decided on Help for Heroes.’ Throughout the season, as a mark of both support and respect, the club will hold a number of fundraising events for the charity and will wear the logo on the warm up jerseys with pride.
