Another exciting announcement for Telford Tigers as the club welcome back netminder Zack Brown to the Tigers 2 roster for the upcoming season. Brown joined the Tigers 2 team late last season after playing for Hull Pirates in the Moralee league. Having iced previously at clubs such as Hull Pirates, Sutton Sting and Sheffield Steeldogs, the 22 year-old brings valuable experience and skills to Tigers 2 and player coach Callum Bowley was pleased to have Zack back on the team commenting:
“I’m really pleased to have a solid netminder in Zack signed up. He came in part way through last season and really impressed me with his performances. He proved to be a huge signing for us, a great character in the dressing room and provided the team with a lot of confidence. I expect big things from Zack this season coming and I believe he has an even bigger role to play.”
After securing an average save percentage last season of 90.83% from 22 games, Zack is returning to the club with an optimistic attitude and had the following to say about his return to Tigers 2:
“It’s good to be back in Telford after enjoying my time last year with a solid group of players and staff. This year as a team, we need to be looking to push on, progress and compete for the league title as well as the playoffs. I want to be able to give the team a chance to as many games as possible, and this season as a team, I think we can do that.”

New for 2018/19 Tigers are offering individual player sponsorship at £200. The package includes a personalised ‘special’ third jersey with a company name or family name patch, announcements on match nights, a small advert or logo in the match night programmes and a signed player photo.
